4/06/09 - Cam wanted DBZ tonight, not sure if it's because the new movie is coming out... I'm sure he wants to see it :) I was really proud of Cam yesterday, Uncle Kenny is up from Florida with his 3 sons as they need to get his mom's house ready for the market. It's sad as she is suffering from alzheimers and won't be coming back up to enjoy the house... So I told Cam what they were doing...lots of hard work, not play, and Cam didn't hesitate to offer his entire Sunday to help Uncle Kenny. He spent 6 hours dragging brush and debris around the yard with the boys. When I got home I asked him if he had fun and he said "A great time Papa!" ( even Kenny said "huh?" )... He is such a kind and generous boy, I hope he knows how much that meant to Kenny, his Uncle was so very greatful.

4/13/09 - Very funny request from Cam this week... he wanted some "old school" Super Mario Brothers.. and drawn just in the 16 bit detail as the original! Hahahaha I thought that it was a brilliant request ! Cam has a huge week coming up... on the 16th he turns 11 !! He's lookng forward to having a big party with his buddies sleeping over, and staying up until 4AM ! He also got his report card and all A's and a couple B+'s...and the conduct and effort were tops! He is really smart and applies himself well, and so his grades show it. He is humble though...felt he could have done better in reading but said he was having a little difficulty and would try harder :) He started scrimages this week in Baseball and was having so much fun.. I love watching him get excited when I say "Cam go to second"...he does a little fist pump and says "yessss". He's fielding and batting is so much better this year...and he looks so big out there.

4/26/09 - Cam had a very busy vacation... he turned 11!! I took four of his buddies to the movies and they wanted the top down on the jeep...froze our butts off, although I don't think they seemed to mind so much as they also had me cranking 80's hair-metal...they cracked me up. At the theatre I did let them have a little fun after the movies...a huge popcorn battle...them vs. me... I think I lost :) Cam also had another party over vacation and had some buddies sleep over ( 7 including logan and his friend ). They had a blast and at midnight when we had fun throwing Mentos into Coke bottles for the full effect... 11 years old. My word he is growing to fast :(
