9/14/09 - I had a ton of fun with these bags. If you follow these bags you know my Cam is a HUGE Beatles fan and this weekend we were blasting Let It Be in the jeep as we cruised and just relaxed. I figured this would be a good way to kick off the lunch bags this year. Cam starts the 6th grade and is in the Middle School now !! Where has my littlest boy gone ??? He is trying so hard to keep up with his older brother now, it's almost like they are twins... I am very fortunate they are so close ( don't tell them that ! ). He took up the Saxaphone for band this year and played his first notes for me... I can really see this being the instrument for him...it seems like a perfect fit and I know with his talent he will master this and become a great musician!

9/21/09 - I couldn't resist !!!!! Cameron has a Chuck Norris shirt with the "emotions" of Chuck...well regardless of the feeling it's the same picture... so I did a spin on it and used Andy Warhol's Che Guevara as an inspiration. Funny, I can't stand "Modern Art" and yet lately I find myself looking at it and being able to appreciate it more. Maybe like Cameron, I am growing up some. Cam had Webelos Woods this weekend with his Boy Scout Troop and had a great weekend of camping.... he came home very tired though but he said he had such a blast and really loves scouts.. I know he will achieve his Eagle Scout. It's amazing how much older he looks when he is in his uniform... these kids are just growing up way to fast. I so wish it would slow down.....

9/28/09 - " Starryfish Night "... Well that was what I thought when I came up with the idea and I thought Cam would like this take on Vincent's masterpiece, "Starry Night". Cam seems to be settling in to school quite well now and definitely enjoys his Saxaphone, he took it out the other day to play the new notes he has learned. Although it was just a few notes in sequence, it sounded as good as anything that Charlie "The Bird" Parker could have even played. Cam also got to see his cousins from Oklahoma this past weekend, he got a kick out of them and he was enjoying the time we spent together. Cam made me so very proud by the way he helped keep Morgan busy at times, entertaining her while we ate, and just being the finest young man I could ever hope him to be !
