4/06/09 - Wow ! That's the "G-rated" version of what I said to Logan after watching him in "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" this weekend... Logan was Mr. Bucket and had to sing and even dance!!! It's was absolutely amazing, all the kids did a great job. I was so proud of him, he was sick as a dog all week and still made the rehersals and did the play perfectly...he is dead tired now. Watching him up there was so incredible...he is very talented, then to boot he made my night, heck week, by introducing me to someone very special to him :) He's not my little boy anymore , he's a teenager for sure... still doesn't stop him though from giving his old man a hug and letting me know he loves me. This character is from Death Note... "Rem", not sure if he's good or bad but I'll find out from Logan.

4/13/09 - Cam picked this one out for Logan...well he said Digimon. It was very enjoyable for me ! We were at Gamestop on Easter Sunday and the boys were looking for new DSi games to buy and we saw Digimon games... and the memories came flooding to me. Digimon was the 1st Anime he really watched, he would just get entrhralled in the show and I must admit we both would lie down ( him on my chest ) and watch them Saturday mornings. One Easter we got up at 4AM to head to Florida and the Easter Bunny brought him a bunch of Digimon...he was soooo excited and had his Digimon carrying case all loaded and ready to go with him for the trip. They loved playing with the little toys and I can see him now in my mind, just all of 5 years old and so happy opening his easter basket and letting out gasps of happiness with each one he dug out... Thanks Cam for the suggestion !!

4/26/09 - Vacation is over :( Logan had a very fun time over vacation ! Between friends coming over and us just doing different things he seemed to have a smile on his face at all times. Funny thing happened last week... he over threw me as the hunter & gatherer of the tribe !! every year we go to the herring run and catch the herring with out bare hands and each year I catch far more than they do. well that changed this year... Logan caught more than I did and he was so happy ( wish I could say humble! hahaha ) and was very proud of himself. He did learn there is a difference between youth and age...and that is knowledge... The knowledge that although I may have been knocked off the top of the totem pole, I still know that it is to much fun to put a live herring down the back of his shirt when he is hanging over the edge of the water :) This week was an open suggestion...so I went with Captain Harlock for the 70's Anime series.
