2/2/09 - I knew this was "the" image for Morgan's bags the second I saw it. I just loved the mood of the piece and I knew Morgan would like it very much. I tried a little acylic sponging for an effect...didn't "float my boat" but she absolutely loved it.

2/9/09 - My students have been learning about Black History and one of the stories was about Ruby Bridges... such an amazing girl. I thought for Morgan I would follow the theme of "Black History Month" and do Norman Rockwell's famous image.

2/23/09 - This one really came out of nowhere ! I asked Morgan if she had any suggestions and she said "no papa" so I went and started drawing a close up of "the creation of Adam" from the Sistine Chapel... well that lasted about 20 minutes and she said "I don't want that.." Hahaha ! So she said something about Looney Tunes, I always loved "Gossamer" and all the degrading things he endured so it took off from there!... Next week I want to convince her to let me do something Maxfield Parrish.....
